What I build

Software, built end to end.

Custom web-based business systems, internal tools, web apps, and SaaS — including AI integrations. All designed and built end to end by one senior developer with over a decade of software experience, no handoff to outsourced teams. Built to fit how you actually work — for businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets and off-the-shelf software. Available remotely for clients anywhere (based in Mesa, Arizona).

Service 01

Business systems & internal tools

The custom system your business runs on — internal tools, dashboards, and databases built around the workflow you actually have, not the one a software vendor thinks you should have. For businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets and off-the-shelf tools.

What I build

  • Custom back-of-house systems — from a single CRUD screen to a full operation with roles, audit trails, and reporting
  • Internal tools purpose-built for how your team actually works
  • Dashboards and reports that pull from the data you already have
  • Schema design, migrations, and queries when the database itself needs work
  • Role-based access and authentication, built carefully and tested before it ships
  • Imports, exports, and integrations with the tools already in your stack

Recent

Two custom web systems for one client — one driving the customer lifecycle with reporting and PayPal/Stripe payments, the other adding barcode-scanning workflows and printable labels for fulfillment. Plus FS Tracker, the project-and-time system I built for my own studio and use every day.

Service 02

Web apps & SaaS

Full web apps and SaaS products — from straightforward tools to ambitious, long-running products with accounts, billing, and secure data. AI woven in where it actually saves time, not a chat box stapled to the side of an existing tool.

What I build

  • Custom web apps with auth, secure data, and a UI built around the user's task
  • SaaS products with self-serve accounts, subscriptions and billing, and reporting
  • AI-assisted features — generation, summarization, classification, agents
  • Integrations between the apps and services you already use
  • Long-running, ambitious products that need someone who'll stick with them
  • Quick prototypes when you need to test an idea before committing

Recent

FS Designer — a precise 2D vector design tool I've been developing for three years, now in alpha. As long-running and ambitious as my work gets.

Service 03

Websites

When you need one: marketing sites, landing pages, and content-driven sites — built fast, accessible, and easy to maintain. Custom code where it earns its keep; no WordPress or bloated templates.

What I build

  • Marketing and brochure sites for small and growing businesses
  • Landing pages tied to specific campaigns or product launches
  • Content-driven sites with a lightweight admin if you'll be editing copy
  • Performance, accessibility, and SEO baked in — not bolted on
  • Spam-filtered lead forms, plus domain, hosting, and analytics setup

Recent

cngaz.com for a compressed natural gas service business, Holiday Window Artist for a fine artist's hand-painted storefront windows, and JW Custom Painting for a Phoenix house-painting company — migrated off WordPress with a spam-filtered lead form. This site is custom-built too.

How it works

The shape of a project.

Every project is different, but the rhythm tends to be the same.

1

Discover

A short call to understand the project, the goal, and the constraints — budget, timeline, anything else in play.

2

Plan

You send an email with a detailed description of what you want — plus any photos or assets you'd like used. I turn it into a proposal with scope, timeline, and price, and we adjust until it works for both of us.

3

Build

Code, ship, get feedback, iterate. Frequent progress updates so you can shape the build as it takes form — and the version you sign off on is the one I deliver.

4

Hand off

Documentation, deployment, and any training you need. I stay reachable for follow-on work whenever you need it.

Engagement

Project-based pricing.

Most projects are quoted upfront. Hourly work is available for support, maintenance, and clearly scoped short tasks — $100 an hour, billed by the quarter hour.

I work efficiently, so an hour with me tends to go further than the number suggests.
