Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Fletcher's Software ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our website at fletcherssoftware.com and our products, FS Designer and FS Tracker (together, the "Services"). It also describes, specifically, how we handle Google and Microsoft calendar data when you choose to connect those accounts.
Who we are
Fletcher's Software is a software studio operated by Loren Fletcher, based in Mesa, Arizona, USA. FS Designer and FS Tracker share a single Fletcher's Software account so you can sign in once across the products.
Information we collect
Account information
When you create a Fletcher's Software account, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, mailing address, country, and your email preferences. We use this to create and secure your account and to contact you about the Services.
Calendar account data (Google and Microsoft)
FS Tracker can connect to your Google Calendar and/or Microsoft Outlook calendar so you can view and edit your events, and create calendars, inside the Tracker. This is entirely optional and only happens when you explicitly connect an account and grant consent. When connected, we access:
- The list of calendars in your account and their names/colors, so you can choose which to show.
- The events in the calendars you choose, so we can display them in the Tracker's calendar views.
- The ability to create, update, and delete events that you create or edit through the Tracker.
- The ability to create new calendars in your account, when you ask the Tracker to.
Technical information
Like most web applications, our servers log basic technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) for security, debugging, and reliability.
How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Services.
- To display your selected calendars and events, and to make the edits you request to those events.
- To authenticate you and keep your account and data secure.
- To communicate with you about the Services (you control marketing emails in your account settings).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your calendar data for advertising.
Google user data and Limited Use
When you connect a Google account, FS Tracker requests the Google Calendar
scope (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar) so it can read and
edit your calendar events, and create and manage calendars, on your behalf. We
access this data only to provide the calendar features you see in the app.
Fletcher's Software's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
In practice this means: we use Google Calendar data only to provide and improve the in-app calendar features that are visible to you; we do not transfer this data to others except as necessary to provide those features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition; we do not use the data for advertising; and we do not allow humans to read it unless you give explicit consent, it is necessary for security or to comply with law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
Microsoft account data
When you connect a Microsoft account, FS Tracker requests the
Calendars.ReadWrite and User.Read permissions (via
Microsoft Graph) so it can read and edit your Outlook calendar events and
identify your account. As with Google, we use this data solely to provide the
calendar features in the app, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising.
How calendar access is stored and secured
- To stay connected without asking you to sign in repeatedly, we store the access and refresh tokens the provider issues. These tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) in our database.
- We store the identifiers and names of the calendars you choose to display.
- Calendar traffic is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
- We request the minimum scopes needed to provide the calendar features, including creating and managing calendars.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information or calendar data. We may share information only with service providers that help us operate the Services (for example, our hosting and database providers), under obligations to protect it; when required by law; or in connection with a business transfer. Any such use of Google user data remains subject to the Limited Use requirements described above.
Data retention and deletion
- You can disconnect a Google or Microsoft account at any time from the Tracker's calendar settings. Disconnecting deletes the stored tokens and the associated calendar subscriptions from our systems.
- When you delete content (such as images or projects), it is removed from the live service immediately. A residual copy is kept in our backups for recovery for up to 7 days, after which it is permanently purged.
- You can delete your Fletcher's Software account at any time. This immediately removes your account, your projects, and your uploaded images — along with any connected-calendar records — from the live service. Residual copies retained in our backups for recovery purposes are permanently purged within 7 days.
- You can also revoke our access directly from your provider:
- Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Microsoft: account.live.com/consent/Manage
Security
We protect your information with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption of sensitive credentials at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data and limit access to it.
Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Services.
