Project tracking with time built in.
The FS Tracker keeps projects, phases, tasks, todos, and calendars in one place — built around time tracking, with undo on every change. The same tool I use to run Fletcher's Software, opening to alpha users in June.
$1.99/month at launch · or $8.99/month bundled with The FS Designer
Organize, track time, undo anything.
Built for the way solo studios and small teams actually work — where the same person plans the project, does the work, and bills the hours.
Organize
Projects break into phases. Phases break into tasks. Tasks can have subtasks. The hierarchy your work actually has — not a flat to-do list.
Track time
Start a timer on any task. Mark tasks billed when you send the invoice. Pull an unbilled-hours report by phase whenever you need it.
Undo anything
Every create, edit, delete, status change, and timer toggle is reversible — with labeled history surfaced right in the status bar.
What's in the alpha.
The capabilities already wired up and being used daily — on the development of The FS Designer itself.
Projects, phases, tasks
A four-level hierarchy with reorderable phases and a four-state task lifecycle (active, completed, deferred, abandoned) — reactivate from any stopped state.
Time tracking & billing
Start/stop a timer on any task. Track billable seconds, mark tasks billed when you invoice, and pull an unbilled-hours report by phase.
Five calendar views
Today, week, month, year, and date range. Tasks render as single-day chips or multi-day bars, and edit inline from the calendar.
Undo / redo everywhere
Create, edit, delete, status change, reparent, priority change, timer toggle — all logged and reversible, with labels like "Undid: Complete task" in the status bar.
Recurring todos
A separate todo list from project tasks. Daily, weekly, or monthly recurrence with end dates and sub-todos that auto-generate on a schedule.
People & external calendars
Assign tasks and todos to internal or external contacts. Subscribe to Google or Microsoft calendars over OAuth, or paste any private ICS feed.
The tool I built for my own studio.
I built The FS Tracker because the tools I was using didn't fit. Generic todo apps don't have phases. Project tools don't track billable time the way a small studio needs. So I built the one I wanted — and now it runs my own work, including the development of The FS Designer.
It's small, focused, and built around how a one-person studio actually runs. If that sounds like your work too, the alpha is open.
