Founder · Fletcher's Software

Hi, I'm Loren Fletcher.

I've been writing software for decades. Today I build websites, information systems, and apps for small and growing businesses — and I'm developing The FS Designer, the first step toward a toolkit I'm calling Intent Driven Software Development.

My background

A long road through different languages.

I have a Computer Information degree from DeVry and a career that's followed the platforms as they shifted. I started building software in 4D on the Macintosh, then moved to Delphi, then C# and .Net. Today I work primarily in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node — with Python, SQL, and AI tooling alongside.

What runs through all of it is the same instinct: build the thing carefully, test it, ship it, then make it better. The languages change. The discipline doesn't.

Fletcher's Software is the studio I've been working toward. It's still small — I'm just now reaching the financial independence to grow it — and every project I take on gets the full attention of someone who's been doing this for a long time. There's no team to hand the work off to. You get me.

Alongside client work, I'm building two products, both entering alpha in June 2026.

The first is The FS Designer, a 2D vector graphics and prototyping tool — and the first piece of what I'm calling Intent Driven Software Development: a connected toolkit for designing apps, websites, and information systems — interface, code, database, and AI design in one place — that exports cleanly to all major languages and platforms.

The second is The FS Tracker, a project and time management app for solo studios and small teams. Projects, phases, calendars, todos, and the hours you spend on them — in one place. I built it because the tools I tried didn't fit, and it now runs my own work.

How I work

What working together looks like.

Talk directly

You work with the person building the software — no account managers, no handoffs to junior staff. If something is unclear or the scope shifts, we figure it out together.

Built to last

I'd rather take an extra day to do something correctly than ship something that has to be rewritten. The goal is software you can live with for years, not weeks.

Honest scope

I'll tell you what's worth building, what isn't, and why — even when that makes the project smaller. The result you need matters more than the invoice.

Mesa, Arizona. Open for work.

Email is the best way to reach me. Happy to talk through a project, an idea, or whether I'd be the right fit for what you're working on.
